Privacy policy
This policy explains what information KŌVA MMA & Fitness ("KŌVA", "we") collects through kovagym.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Effective September 2026.
What we collect
Contact form. When you send us a message we receive the details you type: your name, phone number, email address (optional), the program you're interested in, your message, and the page you sent it from. The form also includes a hidden field that only automated spam bots fill in; real submissions leave it blank.
Analytics and advertising. We use Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and clicks on booking, membership and phone links. These tools set cookies and similar identifiers under Google's and Meta's own privacy policies.
Bookings, memberships and payments. Class bookings, membership signups and payments are handled by Gymdesk, our membership software, under Gymdesk's privacy policy. Card numbers are entered on Gymdesk's pages and are never stored on this website.
How we use it
- To reply to your message by text, call or email, and to answer your question about a program, the schedule or memberships.
- To run the gym: confirming bookings, managing memberships, and letting you know about class changes.
- To measure the site and our advertising in aggregate, so we know which pages and ads bring people to their first class.
We do not sell personal information. Form submissions are delivered to our team through an automation service (Make) and stored in a spreadsheet that only KŌVA staff and our web agency can access.
Text messages (SMS)
By providing your phone number you agree to receive texts about your booking and classes; reply STOP to opt out. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Opting out of texts does not affect your membership; you can always reach us by phone or email instead.
Cookies and your choices
Analytics and advertising cookies are not required for the site to work. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage ad preferences in your Meta account settings. The site itself does not set cookies of its own.
Retention
We keep contact form submissions for as long as we need them to follow up with you and for our records, and we delete them on request. Analytics data is retained according to Google's and Meta's default settings. Membership records are kept by Gymdesk for as long as you are a member and as required for accounting.
Children
Our kids program is for ages 5 to 12, and all enquiries and signups for it are made by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website.
